We have been quite busy with development over the past few months, so have been a little quiet on the blog. The response to MackTrak has been astounding, from both our customers and reviewers. GadgetTrak is the first company to utilize wi-fi positioning to assist in recovering stolen Mac systems, as well as integrating with photo sharing sites such as Flickr. Our patent-pending approach to theft recovery also has the benefit of respecting our users’ privacy as no images or location data ever come to our servers. Over the past few months since the launch of MacTrak we have been preparing an upgrade that provides security and performance enhancements. The upgrade also has some interesting new features, which will will provide more information about shortly.  The upgrade will be free to all existing customers and will come as a simple patch that can be run to install the upgrade, we will post links here as well as send an email out when the upgrade is ready to go.
