iHound.com Software Downloads Search

I came across an interesting search engine today called iHound .com that allows you to search through multiple search engines at once, very similar to Dogpile in many ways. One thing I found particularly interesting was the ability to search specifically for software downloads . This is quite a useful tool, one I am surprised Google has not borrowed it. Although they have Google Code, they do not have a place to specifically search for compiled software targetting consumers. It is interesting how we get in the habit of always using Google, when in fact there are many search engines that have developed better interfaces and pushed the limits of search.
